The role of Business Innovation Consultant
As our new Business Consultant you will take on a key strategic role in the company as both client executive and supporting partner for the CEO. Customer experience for Astrocytia is key, and we focus on being innovative, professional, and show empathy and respect in everything that we do, both internally and with our clients.
You will be responsible for analyzing the workflows of the clients’ organizations based on analyses of their current processes and personal interviews with strategic leaders as well as the operational level. Based on these results, dialogue and strategy discussions, you will advise and guide the clients in developing and identifying points of action.
In the implementation phase you will be responsible for identifying and addressing pain points with the Astrocytia team, plan and develop the roadmap for deliverables focusing on the biggest wins first. This entails planning and conduction of workshops with the client in the design and analysis phase to identify as-is business processes and strategic goals of the to-be.
Your assignments include:
- Customer experience and client relations
- Creating business cases and proof of concept
- Interviews with client's key employees
- Contracts, reporting and documentation
- Create reports and presentations for key stakeholders
- Help onboard and manage our external consultants
- Further develop our internal process documents and project templates
- Help build our brand and marketing material with relevant articles and stories
- Help develop our methodology and value proposition to the clients
Drive innovation and new approaches
The job requires a number of client visits in and outside of Denmark and you may expect approximately 80-100 days of travel per annum.
You will be introduced to the job and assignments through a short programme and afterward the CEO will take you under his wing until you are ready to independently advise clients.
The entry level for this position varies; perhaps you have a background in consulting in the IT industry. We prefer that you have a few years of experience from a similar position as an internal or external consultant.
A good understanding of processes, innovation and IT is important, and it is an advantage if you have experience from the client side, and thus understand the challenges our clients face.
We imagine that you hold a master’s degree as cand.it, ITKO or the like. Strong communication skills are required, especially in English - both in speech and writing - as you will handle both contracts and give presentations in international settings.
As a person, you are analytical, curious, outgoing and thrive in building relations with both clients and colleagues. You have a pragmatic and structured mind-set, enabling you to find creative solutions to our clients' challenges and to systematise the process.
